By registering for the New Horizon Unity Run 2026 (“Event”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and confirm that all information provided during registration is complete, true, accurate, and up-to-date.
Registration is confirmed only after full payment of the entry fee (if applicable). No entry is valid without a confirmed race bib number.
Registrations are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-modifiable unless otherwise stated by the organizers in writing.
Participant Eligibility & Responsibility
Participation in the Event is voluntary and at your own risk. You confirm that you are physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in the Run.
Participants under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian and may be required to provide additional documentation.
You agree to obey all Event rules, instructions from Event officials, marshals, and volunteers, including safety directives before, during, and after the Run.
For safety reasons, participants are expected to maintain sportsmanship and decorum at all times.
Risks & Waiver of Liability
You fully understand and accept that participation in running events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, uneven surfaces, weather conditions, traffic, and contact with other participants.
By entering the Event, you waive and release New Horizon College of Engineering, its organizers, sponsors, partners, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries, loss, or damage that may occur before, during, or after the Event.
Organizers are not responsible for personal property lost, stolen, or damaged at the Event.
Medical & Safety
It is strongly advised that all participants undergo a medical check-up before race day.
The Event will have first-aid and medical support available along the course; however, you agree that organizers are not obligated to provide medical care or insurance coverage.
In case of injury, accident, or medical emergency, you authorize Event medical personnel to take necessary action and transport you to appropriate medical facilities.
Race Conduct & Safety Rules
Participants must adhere strictly to the designated race route and official instructions.
Unauthorized pacing, use of wheeled devices (such as bicycles or rollerblades), and external assistance are prohibited during the run.
Depending on Event regulations, the use of earphones, headphones, or personal audio devices may be restricted for safety.
Data, Photography & Media
You agree that photos, videos, livestreams, recordings, and other media that include your image or voice may be taken during the Event and used by the organizers or partners for promotional, commercial, educational, or archival purposes without compensation.
Personal data collected during registration may be used for Event administration, communications, timing, and results. Data will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy policies.
Cancellation & Changes
The Event organizers reserve the right to alter, postpone, cancel, shorten, or reschedule the Event due to weather, safety concerns, government directives, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In case of cancellation or major changes, the organizers may provide limited refunds or credit for future events at their discretion.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing your registration and participating in the New Horizon Unity Run 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.
